SHC Conference 2013 – Solar Heating and Cooling for Buildings and Industry

The IEA Solar Heating & Cooling Programme (IEA SHC) and the European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (ESTIF) announced SHC 2013, the International Conference on Solar Heating and Cooling for Buildings and Industry, from September 23-25, 2013 in Freiburg, Germany.

SHC 2013 will be the second edition of this new series of annual scientific conferences on solar heating and cooling. During the successful launch of SHC 2012 in San Francisco from July 9-11, 220 experts from 31 countries discussed the latest developments in solar heating and cooling as well as solar buildings.
We heard about technological advancements in thermal storage, cost competitive large-scale projects, successful public-private partnerships to develop regional solar thermal markets, and much, much more.

For the 2013 edition of the conference, IEA SHC is joining forces with ESTIF which brings its own history of five successful ESTEC conferences, now continuing as SHC 2013, aiming to add a strong industry focus.
