The OWEMES 2015 – Offshore Wind and other marine renewable energies in Mediterranean and European Seas – will take place in Rome from 7 to 9 October, at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of “Università di Roma La Sapienza”.
The 8th triennial seminar – after Roma INSEAN (1994), La Maddalena (1997), Siracusa (2000), Napoli (2003), Civitavecchia (2006), Brindisi (2009) and Roma (2012) – will provide a new opportunity for scientists and engineers to present recent advances and to discuss current problems, future needs and prospects in the area of marine energies. Major topics and new trends will be introduced through keynote lectures that will be presented by internationally recognized experts.
